(CHRISTMAS 2025) A KALANTA A DAY: CHRISTMAS CAROL FROM CYPRUS

🎄 In the countdown to Christmas we are posting a traditional Greek Christmas Carol or a Greek Orthodox Christmas Chant a day. Today  a traditional Carol from the Island of Cyprus by Christos Sikkis and Despina Olymiou accompanied by the Estoudiantina Neas Ionias (link). The Carol is part of the album "Να τα πούμε;" (Na Ta Poume? - Shall We Sing?) from which we shall hear much more before Christmas Eve.  The Greek lyrics are available in the description.
