DYER AND SCHELIN PART 5: THE REVOLUTION IS FOREVER
We are joining a series of dialogues between Jay Dyer and Pavel Schelin on the modern, liberal state and how that compares to the systems of Government known to humanity before the onset of the Enlightenment. Starting from metaphysics (or the absence thereof) that underly any world view, Dyer and Schelin work their way through history. They are looking particularly at the basic differences between the modern, secular state and the Eastern Roman idea of 'symphonia,' a balance between sacred and secular authority. They come to startling conclusions about the present state of politics and who precisely holds sovereignty in the modern state of today. Pavel Schelin Russian YT channel, English YT Channel. Part 5 of the series is particularly interesting as it touches the heart of the matter. Jay remarks that Jürgen Habermas, widely recognized as the leading figure of the second generation of the Frankfurt School, wrote in his book "Theory and Praxis" that the American experiment is part of the dialectic.
Schelin brings up a related question, why is it that the US is always trending incrementally further to the Left. We summed it up not that long ago as follows: the liberals of today, are the conservatives of tomorrow. Dyer and Schelin clarify the idea.
Of course modern politics trend that way. Conservatives want to conserve the values of an earlier, already departed stage of a process that is constantly moving progressively forward. This is the nature of the Hegelian dialectic: thesis > antithesis > synthesis.
Conservatives think Francis Fukuyama was right in concluding that liberalism is "the end of history." But ending this process is impossible (the dialogue starts with noting that the pyramid on the dollar note is unfinished, which symbolizes this point). The revolution moves on perpetually.
What conservatives don’t understand is that the roots and the fruits are of the same nature. You can’t expect a revolution not to be succeeded by another revolution. More than once commentators have remarked that “the revolution is eating its own children.”
That’s how this works. You can’t get around the fact that the ultimate outcome of the Enlightenment will be global socialism. Because the ideology of the Enlightenment was designed with that purpose in mind.
The Founders weren't proper Christians at all! They were mostly Gnostic and Neoplatonist Freemasons who hated sacred as well as secular authority.

THE MODERN STATE IS A HUSK
Oct. 4, 2026 Jay Dyer: America Doesn't Exist - Jay Dyer and Pavel Schelin - Episode 4.
Does the modern state care about its own people and is that even the right question to ask? In part 4 of this series, Pavel and Jay dive deeper into the shadow demon world and trace how the Enlightenment removed responsibility and the division that gave birth to modern theories of governance: a drone entity steered by shady cryptocracies and populations reduced to formless masses, mere resources, reduced to cattle, petri dishes for social experiments. They conclude there is no ontology behind the modern state. They are mere shells for power groups with a "religious" vision of the future, competing for power and using the husk of the state as circuits for the drones.

POST ENLIGHTENMENT POLITICS
Sep 26, 2026 Jay Dyer: Conspiracy & Governance: Post-Enlightenment Politics - Jay Dyer and Pavel Schelin. Part 3.
Pavel Schelin and Jay Dyer explain why any discussion of real power necessarily sounds conspiratorial. They note impersonal politics is impossible, decisions are made by individuals, and the consequence of the Enlightenment is the gap between power and responsibility. The Enlightenment thinkers constructed systems of Government in order to get away from the excesses of individual powers, like kings and bishops. Dyer and Schelin conclude that abstract power is an illusion, resulting in the spread of responsibility with no one in particular being accountable. That is no fluke, but how the system was designed. Power used to be expressed in responsibilities, but modernity turned it into privilege.
