(CHRISTMAS 2025) A KALANTA A DAY: "KALISPERIZO FERNONTAS"
In the countdown to Christmas we shall be posting a traditional Greek Christmas Carol or a Greek Orthodox Christmas chant a day. We start the month off with "Καλησπερίζω Φέρνοντας", a traditional Carol from the Island of Chios by Eλληνικές Φωνές (Ellinikes Fones - Greek Voices), featuring Father Dimitri Tsakas. The Carol is part of the album "Να τα πούμε;" (Na Ta Poume? - Shall We Sing?) from which we shall hear much more before Christmas Eve. Greek and English captions are available in the video. The choir is a community group based in Brisbane, Australia (YT Channel) who are passionate about preserving the Hellenic language and culture through music on the Australian continent.
