POLITICAL ACTION FOR ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS

We've been curating the work and warnings of  Mike Benz extensvely in these pages. He's the Executive Director of the free speech watchdog, Foundation for Freedom Online (website). Benz has been mapping how the networks of NGOs and covert Governmental agencies have been active in regime change operations in so called Color Revolutions, from the Balkans and the Caucasus to the Middle East. From 2016 these outward facing organizations were onshored in the US and activated against President Trump and many of his associates. This is now all being confirmed by Orthodox Christian Dr Olga Ravasi of Serbian descent, who is an expert in Balkan affairs, South Central Europe, and the Middle East (X account) (website). Dr Olga Ravasi advises US corporate, government, and nongovernmental organization clients on matters affecting their plans, interests, and operations in these regions. More details in the description (link).  

In an effort to provide the growing Orthodox Christian communities in the West with a political action arm, she has been cooperating with known Conservative activists. 

She mentions former Trump 1.0 NSA, General Michael Flynn*, Trump associate Roger Stone*, Colonel Douglas McGregor* and George Papadopoulos*.

The idea of a separate political organization for Orthodox Christians is particularly helpful in separating theological matters from activism in the secular sphere. The influence of politics in the religious domain has become somewhat of a problem recently. We wrote about it here and here. 

We'll be seeing more of Dr Olga in the near future. As it is, the Balkans have remained somewhat of a black hole, information wise, although a lot is happening there politically, often with dire consequences. The region has been a playing field for intrigue and covert action throughout history.
