New York City is electing a new mayor to replace Eric Adams, with Democratic red/green Marxist Jihadist, Zohran Mamdani running against independent candidate and former Governor Andrew Cuomo, as well as Republican Curtis Sliwa.
This race has drawn national attention, including comments from President Donald Trump, who has labeled Mamdani a "Communist lunatic" and urged Republicans to support Cuomo to prevent a Mamdani victory, and that's saying something!
From the desk of Donald Trump
"If Communist Candidate Zohran Mamdani wins the Election for Mayor of New York City, it is highly unlikely that I will be contributing Federal Funds, other than the very minimum as required, to my beloved first home, because of the fact that, as a Communist, this once great City has ZERO chance of success, or even survival! It can only get worse with a Communist at the helm, and I don’t want to send, as President, good money after bad. It is my obligation to run the Nation, and it is my strong conviction that New York City will be a Complete and Total Economic and Social Disaster should Mamdani win. His principles have been tested for over a thousand years, and never once have they been successful. I would much rather see a Democrat, who has had a Record of Success, WIN, than a Communist with no experience and a Record of COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURE. He was nothing as an Assemblyman, ranked at the bottom of the class and, as Mayor of potentially, again, the Greatest City in the World, HE HAS NO CHANCE to bring it back to its former Glory! We must also remember this — A vote for Curtis Sliwa (who looks much better without the beret!) is a vote for Mamdani. Whether you personally like Andrew Cuomo or not, you really have no choice. You must vote for him, and hope he does a fantastic job. He is capable of it, Mamdani is not!"

In New Jersey, Republican Jack Ciattarelli is challenging Democrat Mikie Sherrill for the governorship. In Virginia, Republican Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears is running against Democrat Abigail Spanberger, who previously served as a U.S. representative.
California voters are deciding on Proposition 50, which would temporarily allow the state legislature—currently controlled by Democrats—to redraw U.S. House district boundaries, bypassing the independent redistricting commission. This measure is seen as a response to Republican-led redistricting efforts in states like Texas aimed at securing Republican majorities in the 2026 midterms.
Additionally, control of the Minnesota Senate and the Virginia House of Delegates is at stake. In Pennsylvania, voters are considering the retention of three Democratic justices on the state Supreme Court—Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht—who are part of the court’s 5–2 Democratic majority. The outcome could influence future rulings on elections, abortion, and other key issues.
Mayoral elections are also taking place in several major cities including Detroit, Pittsburgh, Jersey City, Buffalo, Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Cincinnati, with incumbents in some of these cities seeking re-election. Numerous local elections and special elections are occurring in states such as Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Missouri.
