ORTHODOXY CAN'T SAVE THE WEST, BUT IT MAY SAVE YOU
Since my last invective (link) warning for the dangers of the Orthobros, I received more alarming messages, that made me think about the future of Orthodoxy in the West. Earlier this week I said that if these people get to define Orthodoxy, it "would create an Orthodox version of Western religious tradition; precisely that what they are running from in the first place". The irony is lost on them, of course. After mulling this over in my mind, it occurred to me that this is probably unavoidable. Watch Dr Eugenia Constantinou grappling with Western arrogance and unorthodox (or should I say, anti Orthodox) phronema in this week's episode of Search the Scriptures: Orthodox Interpretation of the Bible.
