PRESIDENT TRUMP MEETS WITH SYRIAN LEADER (UPDATE)

Yesterday President Donald Trump had a bilateral meeting with the President of Syria in the Oval Office. Ahmed Al-Sharaa, formerly known as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, was the leader of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), that made up al-Qaeda in Iraq. He assumed power after the Assad regime was brought down by a coalition of the collective West and Arab countries and Israel in Operation Timber Sycamore. Since then Al-Sharaa is widely recognized as Syria's President. The event was closed to the press for obvious reasons.



So very little of Al-Sharaa's visit has transpired. He gave an interview on Fox answering a question about 9/11 with 'It wasn't my fault', or words to that effect. Whatever!

Those crying foul about a terrorist in the White House should answer the question, what they expected to happen when the previous regime was toppled by a coalition of the West and a number of Arab countries and Israel?

The decision to give Al-Sharaa a chance and lift sanctions was a gesture by President Trump to MBS of Saudi Arabia personally as part of the deal made during Trump's visit to Riyadh recently. The recognition of Al-Sharaa is the price for peace.

He is supposed to rule Syria according to Western Enlightenment standards; the signs are not good for now, particularly for Christian and Muslim minorities in Syria who are being killed by followers of the new regime. But this is what you signed up for if you supported the war in Syria and the ousting of Assad. 

As for the neocons who have been attacking Tucker Carlson for the last ten days, not one is around today for condemning the Syrian terrorist in the White House. That should fully explain how this happened and why.




All this may explain why MTG has fallen out of Trump's favor. 


All he's gotta show for it is a lousy MAGA hat! 😝
