Part of AF TV and other media is a narrative about a 'controversy' about Secretary of War Pete Hegseth in a so-called 'double tap'. We shall not be joining them in this particular talking point. On Monday, Dec. 1 a law comes into force that allows President Trump to attack Venezuela. Probably an actual strike is not exactly imminent until then.

There have been three battle groups in position since last week. This may not be about regime change, illegal criminals, narco trafficking, or even the Monroe Doctrine (link).

Apparently there have been ongoing talks with Maduro for some time now for him to leave the country peacefully. But according to the latest information, talks have broken down.
