Elon Musk is talking to Joe Rogan for a second time. The first talk we posted here. Apart of his involvement in Trump's waste, fraud and abuse efforts (DOGE), Musk is a known business magnate, a designer, and a visionary engineer. His businesses include Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, X, xAI and others. He recently launched AI search engine Grokipedia in competition with CIA captured Wikipedia (link). Although his allegiance is with President Trump's America First agenda and his credentials as a free speech advocate are beyond doubt, subconsciously he is mentally still a member of the liberal tech crowd of Silicon Valley and as such can be expected to take decisions that prove detrimental in the future where AI is concerned. But that's a subject for another time.
* AI's context is the entirety of what is on the Internet. So if the woke mind virus is everywhere, AI must be specifically trained to ignore or override it.
* Musk's xAI and Grok are being trained to maximize truth. That implies objective truth, of which not everyone is convinced. Where does that leave other AIs? Here's one criterium for the selection of an AI product.
* Musk is already reasoning from the premise that AI can't be controlled. We have to rely on producers of AI products to seek truth and train ethically (from the liberal point of view, of course).
* Thankfully there are still various scenarios possible in our future with AI: from reasonably beneficial to downright nightmarish and woke.
* It is shocking that, if Musk is right, the location of a company's headquarters actually influences its philosophy. One would assume through the people who work there. But apparently there are also other means to capture a corporation's agenda.
