The Transatlantic Energy Forum is held at the Zappeion Hall in Athens on Nov. 6 and 7, where US Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum will join 24 European energy ministers, US Ambassador Kimberley Guilfoyle and Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis (participants). The 6th Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC) conference highlights deepening US-European collaboration to secure, sustainable, and affordable energy, particularly in new generation nuclear and LNG technology. Nov. 6, 2025 Atlantic Council: Sixth Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC) - Day 1.

The sixth P-TEC will convene Government ministers and  industry leaders to discuss energy security and affordability, infrastructure projects, and investment opportunities from Athens, Greece.

The conference convenes just days after US Ambassador Kimberley Guilfoyle's arrival in Athens on Saturday, Nov. 3. On her first day at the embassy, she met with the U.S. Mission team in Greece. 

On Tuesday, Nov. 4 Guilfoyle presented her credentials to President Constantine Tassoulas. She later met with Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis. On Wednesday morning she visited the Maximos Mansion for her first official meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
