BRITISH REPORT DEMOLISHES GENDER TRANSITION PRACTICES

An eagerly awaited report  into the care of gender-questioning children in England and Wales (link) today tore apart current practices. The report was commissioned by the British National Health Service (NHS). The Cass Review, published by paediatrician Dr Hilary Cass, states that young people with gender dysphoria have been let down by a lack of research on medical interventions, like powerful puberty blockers. Dr Cass said she was disappointed by the lack of evidence on the long-term impact of taking hormones from an early age. She found that guidelines for treating children with gender dysphoria also aren't evidence-based. Which basically says it all. The medical thugs in the pharmaceutical industrial complex went ahead with their ideologically driven gender transitions without research or even monitoring the results of what they did to vulnerable children.

As Dr Cass herself bluntly put it, the entirety of gender medicine for young people is built on shaky foundations. These include the use of controversial puberty blockers, which pause the physical changes of puberty such as breast development and facial hair growth.

The report also took aim at the evidence, or lack thereof, on social transitioning, where a child is treated as if they had switched genders, for example changing pronouns and the use of cross-sex hormones in teenagers.

Among the report’s 32 recommendations are a call for gender services to operate to the same standards as other health services for children and young people, with a holistic assessment of people referred. Apparently such standards are entirely lacking. 

The holistic approach would include screening for neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, and a mental health assessment. They never bother to diagnose beyond signs of gender dysphoria. The Cass report also urged the NHS to 

Recommended changes in other standards of gender care include a review of its policy on giving children masculinizing or feminizing hormones from the age of 16, with the report urging extreme caution. 

Dr Cass said there should be a clear clinical rationale for providing hormones at this stage rather than waiting until an individual reaches eighteen.

The use of such hormones, the review said, should be part of a research programme alongside a previously reported puberty blocker trial which is expected to be in place by December.

Hopefully Dr Cass' catalogue of damning findings will be used as ammunition to overhaul one of the most controversial areas of modern medicine.  

This is not part of Dr Cass' recommendations, but we advocate heavy fines, stiff prison sentences and revoking medical licenses for the bastards in this parasitic branch of the medical profession.
