TRUMP SIGNALS WIND DOWN, IRAN CAN HIT EUROPE AND IRAN TARGETS ISRAEL NUKE CENTER

Following our previous reporting (link), the military operation by US and Israeli forces on Iran on Sunday went into its twenty-third day. 
President Trump on Friday surprised everyone with the message that the US is getting very close to meeting its objectives and is considering winding down (link). On Saturday we woke up with the news that Iran's missiles had hit the UK base in the Indian Ocean of Diego Garcia. Panic, because that means that the range of these things covers the most part of continental Europe. The problem is, that nothing is what it seems. Apart of a kinetic war, we are also -- and have been for a long time -- in a propaganda war. Because not 24 hours later, asked how we know this is true, there is just one media report to show for it: the TDS affected Wall Street Journal.

March 22, 2026 War Room: Episode 5237: War With Iran Enters Fourth Week.

We know from the report that one of the IRBMs failed entirely. The US in the meantime have confirmed they shot down a second missile. Murray gets to the core question: "(...) how can any honest person suddenly claim Iran has effectively demonstrated this increased capability that no one knew about?" (link). 

Just now, standing in the middle of the debris at Arad (we will get to that in a while) PM Netanyahu asks, what more proof do you need that Iran is a danger to Europe? The IDF also warned an imminent Iranian attack could reach Europe soon (link).


UK's PM Starmer is accused of covering it up, while Iran rejects responsibility for the alleged IRBM strike, insisting the narrative is designed to scare Europe. Analysts note Iran’s missiles cannot hit targets beyond 2,000km, far below the 4,000km fearmongering.

It is argued that Iran achieved this remarkable feat, by removing the payload. Then where is the danger, one might ask? The whole story is ridiculous and a fine example how the world is being manipulated into acting against its interests.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte tells CBS they cannot confirm Israel’s assessment that missiles fired at Diego Garcia were Iranian intercontinental ballistic missiles, but otherwise he's fully with the program (link). He has to be. 


Hours before a coalition of 22 nations, including the UAE, Bahrain, UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan and Canada released a joint, strongly worded statement saying they're ready "to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait." Great! How about actually sending some hard ware into the theater! (link).

Next we know is that President Trump issues a message at 3:43pmET stating: "I don't want to do a ceasefire with Iran. But at 5:13pmET he issues an ultimatum: "If Iran doesn’t fully open, without threat, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 hours from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first!" (link)

In an initial reaction Iran commented that the Strait is open to anyone, but to her enemies. Later came the IRGC statement: "If the US hits Iran's power plants, the Strait of Hormuz gets completely closed and won't reopen until those facilities are rebuilt". They're also threatening to destroy Israeli energy infrastructure and any regional companies with American shareholders (link). 

But late last night the south of Israel sustained a direct hit of a ballistic missile with an explosive charge weighing half a ton, in the proximity of the Dimona nuclear research site.

Two attempts were made to intercept it, but both failed. The casualty numbers in Dimona and Arad are very high. The attacks mirror similar strikes this week on Iran's nuclear sites at Natanz and Bushehr.


Glenn Greenwald is reporting that "Dimona is one of the most strategically important places in Israel, for many reasons. If Israel can't even intercept Iranian missiles aimed there, that is an obvious sign of the serious weakening of their air defenses, a development already widely reported" (link). 

In order to relieve some of the pressure on the oil markets the US issued a general license allowing anyone in the world to buy, deliver, and offload Iranian crude oil already loaded on vessels. The license ran through April 19th. Earlier also sanctions were lifted on Russian oil (link).

At this stage the war could easily turn into a conflagration that is setting the whole of the Middle East on fire. The Arab states at this point have no choice but to start defending themselves. The UAE has started preparations. 


The media are disgusting and simply a party in the war. You can't trust any of them! And in case you've forgotten, the general public is also a target. No sooner had the Gulf states said that oil production is affected, or plans surfaced that are carbon copies of the pandemic.


In the secular state we leant how to put our politics in a separate box from our religion. In the real world of course, the two are inextricably intertwined. As we saw in our post on March 7, 'The Four End Times Eschatologies in the Iran War' (link) three of the parties in this war are driven by their particular eschatologies.

Iran by the prophesy and the Twelfth Imam, Israel by the building of the Third Temple as the precursor to the Coming of the Messiah and large swathes of the American contingent by the 19th century nonsense of the Rapture (or whatever). 


Just in the last few hours the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem has issued an official communiqué denying widespread online rumors claiming the complete closure of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the cessation of all sacred rites, including those at the Tomb of Christ (link).
