IRAN WAR: JOE KENT TALKS ABOUT HIS RESIGNATION

In a political firestorm Joe Kent, Director of Counter Terrorism, resigned yesterday claiming that Trump was duped by Israel into starting the war with Iran (link). In his letter of resignation he writes that "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby". Kent mentions a misinformation campaign by "high ranking Israeli officials and members of the American media" to sow pro war sentiment and to undermine President Trump's America First policy. Kent writes that it is a lie that there was a clear path to a swift victory.

US SENIOR COUNTERTERRORISM OFFICIAL RESIGNS

That's as may be, but the facts are beginning to bear out Kent. In his letter of resignation he calls it an echo chamber meant to deceive the President, to make him believe that Iran posed an imminent threat to the US.

That Trump was a dupe sounds highly unlikely, until you realize that these PR campaigns are being run all of the time and on all levels of public discourse, lately against traditional Catholics. The latest effort is so outrageous, I didn't even get around to reporting it yet.

Social media are full of paid 'influencers' posing as grass roots posters. Just in the last few days I posted a piece on these insidious propaganda methods (link).

These campaigns share a few characteristics, which is why -- though coming from different angels and seemingly opposing political sides -- you can tell they're coming from a common source.

Not just slander, but intricate, multi level smear campaigns, bearing false witness, social shunning, name calling, references to the Second World War -- and that's just on the level of public opinion. I'm sure that what is going on on the intelligence level, is many times more sophisticated.

Old X messages have surfaced of Kent that can be construed as advocacy for the war. Which makes him look like a hypocrite.

His late wife died on the battle field in Syria. His present wife, Heather Kaiser is supposed to have 'worked' for the anti war publication, The Grayzone, but she just co-authored  a single article, published in 2023 about funding for Ukraine.

And suddenly Kent is 'exposed' as a leaker. So why wasn't he sacked for it, if this was a known fact? Instead of waiting for the facts to come out, these people immediately start the program of personal defamation. It's always the same playbook.

It's secondary stuff anyway. Kent is largely seen as a man of high integrity who paid a high price as a Gold Star husband and did himself some eleven tours of duty. He is beyond reproach in that respect.

Which is why wise people are holding off their judgement for now.

Later today Kent is presenting his case on the Tucker Carlson Network, lending more fire to those who want to cast Kent as an antisemite.

Kent also happens to be a Roman Catholic, which makes him a target for the Zionist campaign against traditional Catholics I mentioned before..

In the video Glenn Beck explains how much impact Kent's resignation and his reasons for doing so, are going to have. Admittedly, Beck is prone to exaggeration and as a Mormon he is of course a full member of the Zionist camp. Nevertheless he's giving us the clear picture in full contrast of the impact that lies ahead.

In a reaction Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote in an X message: "As President Trump has clearly and explicitly stated, he had strong and compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack the United States first".

"This evidence was compiled from many sources and factors. President Trump would never make the decision to deploy military assets against a foreign adversary in a vacuum" (link).

Which is besides the point. Kent does not say there was no evidence; he's saying that the evidence was false and misleading.

The President himself downplayed Kent's importance as Director of Counterterrorism or having appointed him, calling him just a nice guy he didn't know that well (link).

We will add Kent's apologetics on TCN in an update to this post, as soon as it drops later today.
