ORTHODOX PILGRIMAGE: THE ROOTS OF WESTERN CHRISTIANITY
In a live blog last year we covered the pilgrimage of Father Andrew Stephen Damick, Pastor Mike Landsman, Father Jacob Siemens and Deacon Seraphim Richard Rohlin to the old country, the island of Iona in Scotland in particular (link). In another post we saw that one of the most shocking things new converts to Orthodox Christianity realize, is that there was a period in time, before the onset of the Great Schism of 1054, when all Christianity was Orthodox. We looked at the Low Countries, Germany and Ireland and at the Founders. The memories of this early Church in the 3rd to the 8th Centuries AD have been as good as erased from history (link).
Feb. 13, 2026 Blood and Thorn | The Great Rood Screen (EP. 1).
But now Deacon Seraphim Richard Rohlin has started a new You Tube channel, The Great Rood Screen Podcast in which he specifically looks into this period in Europe and the British Isles.
The playlist has been added to the special pages on top of this blog. Every new episode of The Great Rood Screen Podcast will be added there automatically.
Other playlists on Western pilgrimage have also found a home on that page (link).
