THE WEAPONIZED COMPASSION OF MODERN CHRISTIANITY
You may recognize this trope, which is quite common on social media. "You call yourself a Christian with ideas like that" or words to that effect. It has to do with a particular modern, Western version of Christianity, that doesn't worship God, but man. You can find the deliberate infusion of Christianity with Humanistic principles all over the place and no one even notices. It has become the norm since modernism passed into postmodernism. The various Western denominations have become caricatures of the Christianity.
