THE EPSTEIN FILES: FAIRY TALES, MONSTERS AND HUMAN SACRIFICE

As an interlude in a barrage of leaks, document dumps and revelations we have a look from an entirely different perspective on the Epstein Files and the nature of power. Some of what has been revealed is pretty shocking and will potentially change for a long time how we look at power and the people wielding it. What if our ancient fairy tales tell us something about reality and are a way to warn us about the nature of power? Because one thing is for sure: there is nothing new under the sun. There have been observers over the years commenting on the cruelty of these stories. But there is a good reason for the ghouls and goblins.

Our modernist, post Liberal Enlightenment civilization has taught us that 'Father State' has replaced God as the source of the Good and that fairy tales are mere children's stories.

Furthermore, philosophically we have a very strong tendency to exalt our interpretations of reality to abstractions, symbolism or allegory. This is the reason we lose touch with reality and why we're having so many problems in the Western world today.

By the way, the modern categories of children and grown-ups are socially relative; it differs historically. Mature men and women of today at twenty-five are considered kids, but not that long ago families could not afford idle students over the age of ten. In the Middle Ages kids were considered small grown-ups.

Although modern collectors of fairy tales and folk stories have often stemmed from the Germanic and Celtic parts of the world, many of the tales have their origin in Greco-Roman times and even beyond.

Modernists often point at the Old Testament with moral indignation, but if they really paid attention, they'd know about the nature of child sacrifice, first fruits and that all sacrifice -- be they human, animal or in the form is libations -- is really 'eating with the gods'.

The Lord of Spirits (playlist) has a three part series on sacrifices. Episode 12 "Eating with the gods" (link).  Episode 13 "The Sacrifices of Righteousness" (link). Episode 14 "The Priest Shall Make Atonement" (link).

We need to educate ourselves about these 'long forgotten' practices, so we are not shocked when they occur again because they are in the nature of the universe.

But let's see what tweeps (now Xers?) have posted on the spiritual approach to the Epstein Files generally.
