RUSSIA'S NUCLEAR REALITY CHECK: BUT WILL IT LAND IN EUROPE?

Yesterday we dealt with the extraordinary spectacle of a number of European countries sending a token number of soldiers to defend Denmark's colony, Greenland against US President Trump's plans to add the arctic territory in some capacity to the United States (link). Today we are still pondering the psychology of this comedy. If it was meant as a serious threat, Europe is in bigger trouble than most Europeans realize. If it was a playful skit, it's in very bad taste. Hopefully it was meant as some sort of symbolic gesture, because anything else would be too bad to even contemplate. The European ineptness on the world stage has now driven the Russians to such desperation, they are resorting the next level shock therapy.

But if I have to venture a guess, the European's comic sabre rattling is meant as a serious signal to Trump they are willing to risk even NATO to 'defend' Denmark's colony and its crofters (link). Yet, everyone knows Europe does not have the power or the capacity to solve anything by forceful means. 

That they nevertheless sent this signal can only be understood as confirmation, that the leaders of north western Europe are seriously divorced from reality, even as far as their own positions are concerned.

The 'big three' endless scheming with the charlatan, Zelensky and the war mongering against Russia has driven Sergey Karaganov, a former adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin and head of Russia’s Council for Foreign and Defense Policy, to give an interview to Tucker Carlson.

Karaganov issued stark warnings about nuclear escalation and stated that if the military operation in Ukraine takes two more years, Russia would consider the use of nuclear weapons, removing Germany and the UK off the map, in that order. 

We can only hope that Stormer, Merz and Macron take it as a strong warning, but probably they'll call Tucker an agent of Putin and continue their assaults on Russia, a policy that is a hold over of the Biden regime, a generation cut from the same cloth.

They don't understand reality, and that includes their own weaknesses. So like children, they whine and throw tantrums. There are some indications that Merz is backing off, but I wouldn't hold my breath (link). 

As we said in our post yesterday, part of this is in the psychology of these derelict powers of a by-gone era. Even less than half a century ago these former world powers determined war and peace, slavery or liberty. They are sensing their time is over.

They are resentful of Trump as well as Putin and fail to understand that America and Russia are the only remaining Western nations of any geopolitical significance.

In the meantime Karaganov mentions who are the powers of the next generation: the US, Russia, China and India. Europe's hegemons are over. All this, also has a philosophical foundation. We shall come back on that in a separate post in the next few days.
