PRESSURE ON ATHENS FOR EU WAR SLUSH FUND
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is due in Athens tomorrow, Monday Oct. 13 in order to pressure the Greek Government into abandoning its veto against the participation of non EU member state, Turkey in the EU's €150 billion "Security Action for Europe" (SAFE) slush fund for war against Russia (link). Nov. 30 is the deadline for SAFE loan applications. In the meantime Turkey has a standing casus belli against Greece, in case the latter decides to exercise its territorial rights as mandated by the EU, the so called EEZ (link).

Wadephul is coming to Athens to convince the Greeks that Turkey's participation in SAFE is to its benefit, with assurances that the Eurofighter Typhoon (link) will not be used against Greece, and with the 'guarantee' that the territorial integrity of the Aegean islands will not be disputed.
One can only hope that Wadephul is sent in his way with a flee in his ear.
Turkey is illegally occupying EU territory, 1/3 of the Republic of Cyprus. There is no way Turkey can participate in EU’s defence structures.
