PRESIDENT AND MELANIA TRUMP CELEBRATE NAVY 250

The US Navy's 250th anniversary is being celebrated throughout 2025 with a wide array of events, culminating in a major celebration in Philadelphia. On Sunday, October 5, 2025, President Donald Trump joins thousands of sailors at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, to celebrate the 250th anniversary during the event "America’s Navy 250: Titans of the Sea — A Salute to the Fleet." The event, originally scheduled for October 3 but rescheduled due to inclement weather, marked a major milestone in the Navy’s yearlong semi-quincentennial celebrations.

President Trump is joined by Melania Trump, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Navy Secretary John Phelan. In a post on Truth Social, Trump called the event a "once-in-a-generation" celebration that honors the Navy’s legacy of maritime dominance and showcases its modern fleet.

During the event, Trump reiterated his administration’s commitment to expanding the Navy, announcing plans to add at least 19 new ships in 2026, including submarines, destroyers, and assault ships. He also expressed interest in reintroducing battleships, criticizing current naval aesthetics and advocating for stronger, steel-hulled vessels.

During the live coverage Steve Bannon and his colleagues of Real America's Voice are going back into history and look ahead into the future, with President Trump having announced major doctrinal changes for US military policies with the emphasis of hemispherical defense.
