THE NEW CODING: LEARN HOW TO PROMPT AI!
So where are we on the state of Artificial Intelligence (AI)? First we concluded the term is not descriptive, but propaganda. AI has nothing to do with human intelligence. AI is a marble trap, a contraption, albeit a complicated one, that computes, which is not what intelligence is, of any kind (link). And it isn't a life form, and cannot become a life form, which excludes consciousness. But it can become an idol. We also had to conclude that co-existence with AI requires more awareness and sharper mental acuity than ever before! Far more, than is currently the case. What we see instead is that postmodern people, who are already living in a world of abstractions, become even more divorced from reality. What more could go wrong? Glenn Beck has the story.
The latter can be best explained with a term from the world of military planning. The saying is attributed to German military theorist Helmuth von Moltke Sr, who stated that no plan of operations can be relied upon beyond the first contact with the enemy.
Meaning, that you can preconceive of any idea or plan in your head or behind a desk on a screen or on a piece of paper, but that the reality on the ground is always more complicated and unexpected than any designer or planner can dream of.
Since the early Middle Ages the West's entire philosophical and intellectual foundation has been built on abstractions. It goes to the dualism of Plato. He imagined that abstractions and universals (for example, humanity) is located in some dimension 'out there', not in the material world 'down here'.
When farmers, builders and traders are dealing in concretes, intellectual professions increasingly replaced reality with abstractions. And as Helmuth von Moltke Sr remarked, the two should not be confused. But what gives when no one even knows the difference anymore?
And then there is the problems of rights. How can you safeguard your unique ideas against the power of the 'mother ship' (i.e. the monopolist Google that already has more power than some known countries), let alone safeguarding that old fashioned notion of rights, or even personal privacy?

The Left usually goes to the Government to solve the problem of protection. But we have seen in recent years that politicians as well as civil servants, who are supposed to consist of people guided by objective law, instead follow their own personal instincts.
