MY GREEK TV: ON THE SHOCKING HISTORY OF GREECE AND GAZA

In episode 13 of My Greek TV (or Romaic Ruminations, or Greek Gropings, suggestions for a new title are ongoing) (YouTube channelFacebook) Greek Aussies, Dean Kalymniou and Peter Stefanidis continue their series of educational podcasts, this time discussing the fascinating history of relations between the Greek world, Israel and the Palestinians. They compare the fates of a would be Palestinian state with the histories of Cyprus, Crete and a number of Aegean islands. The debate highlights the duplicity of the Ottomans and the perfidy of the British Empire and the feeble nature of foreign policies of 'the Great Powers' on the grand chessboard of geopolitics throughout the ages.
