SPECIAL WEEKEND SUMMER CONCERT: STAVROS XARCHAKOS
A very special Weekend Summer Concert this week of an event held on Wednesday July 2 at the iconic Lykabettus Theater towering high over the ancient city of Athens of world renowned composer/director Stavros Xarchakos and his eclectic group of outstanding musicians and singers.

Stavros Xarchakos, who studied with Leonard Bernstein, especially excels in taking raw folk rebetika music, elevating it to a higher musical level without destroying its special character. In fact, he emphasizes it. It's brilliant!
