POPE LEO XIV PRESSES AHEAD WITH CHURCH REUNIFICATION

This weekend there has been an important development in thethousand year issue of the reconciliation between the Eastern and Western Rome. On May 20 (link), just after the election of Leo XIV, we learnt that "the Patriarch of Rome has announced that bringing the Eastern churches back into communion with the Catholic Church, is a top priority". The Bishop of Rome as we prefer to call him, has not lost time in pressing ahead with his priority. With eager participation of Constantinople, we might ad.

As it happens, Jay Dyer just had an open debate which makes clear how far Papal doctrine is actually removed from the body of the Orthodox faith. Here' a link to the debate, as well as a long, if very interesting analysis by Dyer. Highly recommended watch!
