(LIVE BLOG) ISRAEL V. IRAN: IRAN LEADER SPEAKS. WAITING PENTAGON PRESSER

Following earlier reporting (link), just when everyone was expecting the worst, President Trump announced a cease fire plan in stages, that is currently being monitored with eagle's eyes from various quarters. Four hours before the ceasefire went into effect Iran launched a missile hitting a Beersheba apartment building killing four people. Israel answered with a barrage that angered President Trump. For now, the ceasefire is holding. Slowly details are coming out how the early Sunday raid on Iran's nuclear facilities came about on the back of "special intel", the finer points of which are still out there. Amidst all the speculation it had become unclear what Trump's position really is. Turns out, regime change was not what was on his mind.
