GOOD FRIDAY CONCERT: "AFTER THE GLORY"
Last year at Pascha we presented a concert titled "The Great Hours" (link), a modern, three part oratorio composed by the Greek composer, Andreas Katsigiannis. The title is a reference to the liturgy that is celebrated on Holy Friday morning. The performance included the first two parts of the trilogy, "The Place of Silence" (Tis Siopis o Topos) and "Full of Grace" (Keharitomeni). In an update on May 19, 2024 we announced the release of part 3, "Meta Doksis" (After the Glory). It finally premiered on February 17, 2025 at the Pallas Theater in Athens. Unlike parts 1 and 2, part 3 has not yet been subtitled in English. We hope you will appreciate the performance nevertheless.
