PRESIDENT TRUMP NOMINATES KASH PATEL AS FBI DIRECTOR

In recent days, with President Trump putting together his cabinet and picking various other key officials in his administration, we regularly mentioned Operation Crossfire Hurricane (also known as Russia, Russia, Russia Gate or Spy Gate) (link, link, link). Particularly drawing your attention to our posting on "Patel versus Rogers" (link). Last night President Trump announced he is nominating Kash Patel for Director of the FBI. After tipping Matt Gaetz for the Dept of Justice (which has since been rescinded) this is probably the pick that will draw the most ire from the security and administrative states. Hours later the panic in the media was already palpable. But why is Patel drawing so much shock and awe and what exactly was his investigation into Operation Crossfire Hurricane all about? He's here to explain it in his own words. It's really self explanatory.

You bet, Patel is a danger to the status quo. It's a joy to watch the mainstream media and their interlocutors bringing up as an argument against Patel, that "he is a Trump nominee". Yeah, duuh, elections have consequences! 😂

What is unclear is why President Trump proceeded with the nomination of Patel at this time. The information was that he'd have to wait until present FBI Director Wray resigns, or President Trump gets into office and is able to fire him. So obviously something happened. Did Wray signal his intention to resign? Or is something else going on?

Patel has written a book about his experiences of the investigation into Operation Crossfire Hurricane, which has since also been transformed into a film.

The resistance to Trump within the Republican party has collapsed with the Never Trumper diehards giving up the fight, for the time being at least.
