GREEK MINISTER: "DEFEND CHRISTIANS IN SYRIA!"

The fog is slowly lifting from the territory of Syria, and what we're looking at is not good. With the Syrian Army refusing to fight for a number of reasons as discussed in the video below, the defense against the Islamic hordes led by Turkish President Erdogan, effectively collapsed. Assad and family have been given asylum in Russia. It is clear this was a closely guarded operation that must have taken some time of preparation, possibly triggered into execution by the election of President Trump. The key of course is Erdogan, but the coup also involved Israel, and the usual suspects, US, UK and France. What the future for Syria may hold, is our next guess.

Dec. 10, 2024 The Duran: Regime change of Assad.

Well, this isn't hard to predict. Since the Obama era we have seen the US blob engaged is any number of regime change operations, also known as Color Revolutions further up north, or Arab Springs in the south.

The only country that heroically survived the attack, was Egypt where the population took to the streets in masse to reject rule by the Muslim Brotherhood (link).

The rest of the regime change operations left a string of failed states in its wake. The US blob knows this, yet they keep on doing it any way. You'd have to ask yourself, why? Spreading democracy is evidently a justification only believed now by the most gullible idiots.

If the answer is, to protect US national interest, how are economic corporations benefiting from failed states? Don't they want the protection of governments and the rule of law? The answer must be, that failed states are easy to loot.

Dec. 9, 2024 War Room: Yoram Hazony from Israel Breaks Down The Different Factions And Players In The Syrian Conflict.

There is no doubt Syria will be partitioned, with Turkey playing overlord over the Kurds in the north. Israel has already taken possession of Mount Hermon, 40km from Damascus.

Probably the former colonial powers, the UK and France, shall be involved somehow. After sham negotiations the country will erupt into chaos and is ready for the taking.

President Trump has already signaled he believes the US has no skin in this particular game, and may withdraw the troops currently in the east, as he has tried to do during his first administration when he was overruled by his own generals.

There are members of Parliament in Athens, now followed by the Minister of Defense, Nikos Dendias calling for the defense of the Christians in the region, as well as its cultural heritage. But honestly,  Greece and Cyprus lack the moral leverage at the moment. When it comes to current geopolitics, we are not dealing here with statesmen, but with globalist sociopaths.

The Greek Ambassador to Syria does not say from whom he has "security guarantees". Turkey is already outmanoeuvring the Greeks at every turn on the geopolitical chess board. And frankly, one has to be an unusually shrewd operator to pull one over on the Turks at the best of times.

Translation: "New, uncertain day begins in Syria. No one will mourn the Assad regime. But what will happen from here is not clear. Greece and the European Union have a duty to defend the Christian populations in Syria and the Middle East, as well as the monuments of our cultural identity (from my statement after the Working Breakfast with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States at the War Museum)".

As expressed in an earlier posting on the issue of Syria by @FlightsSlow:

"the war in Syria is of strategic importance for Greece. Even if Assad loses the coast, the Turkophile extremist Islamists will soon sign an EEZ agreement with the occupied territories of Cyprus. It is the same reason why we do not want an independent Palestine. At the same time, Cyprus will find itself with another hostile state opposite it, controlled by Turkey. Our interests on the Syrian front are very different from those of the US and Israel" (source).

And then there is the issue of refugees. We have already seen Erdogan is perfectly capable of weaponizing a refugee crisis against Greece and the EU.

It is beyond comprehension that there are voices, notably in Germany and Austria but also in Greece (link), saying that this is the time for former refugees to return to Syria. If anything, there'll be more of them, not less.

These people either have no idea what they're calling for, or they are willfully prepared to sacrifice Syria's Christians to the Islamic hordes. As explained many times, liberals don't 'do religion'. The fact that these people re Christians does not even register on their moral radar.

Finally we have to establish what is the great game here. President Trump may think involvement in Syria is not in the American interest, but the blob would beg to differ.

Ultimately it is the US that has been cultivating Islamic terrorists as irregular shock troops since the Cold War. Now that the Christian heartland is at stake, the US can't wash its hands off the situation.

Certainly not, when there are factions in the MAGA coalition that see Trump as the champion of Christian causes, an idea that was turbo charged this weekend by his attendance of the re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, which was used by French President Macron as a political prop, by the way. But after the Paris Olympics (link), frankly who would be shocked about that.

No one seems to consider the Turko-Qatar gas pipeline through Syria relevant anymore, but should you want to know about it, you can read about it here
