CHRISTIANS IN SYRIA IN THE CROSSHAIRS OF GEOPOLITICS

Over the last few days Ali Baba and his forty terrorists emerged from the depths of the Levantine desert (which must extend to Turkey). They took Aleppo and nearby settlements, in which not a few Christians find themselves in the crosshairs. In Athens there have been questions in the Vouli (Parliament) on the issue if Greece does not have a moral obligation to help these Greco-Levantines, as some are identifying. These are arabized Orthodox Christians living in the Middle East since Alexander the Great and the Seleucid Empire. Since Sunday, X has been filled with frantic pleas for help. But given the liberal globalist nature of the Mitsotakis administration we must assume that, like their colleagues in the rest the of Western world, they "don't do religion". The boys of The Duran are on top of the geopolitical aspects.

Dec. 4, 2024 The Duran: Erdogan's gamble in Syria.

Religion is simply not a thing to liberals. It's just a personal matter, isolated from anyone and everything else. So there you go! There's no problem if Christians in the Levant become mere collateral damage to their geopolitical power games.

Update:
"Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be visiting Lebanon’s capital Beirut on Friday afternoon, December 6. The visit sends "a strong message in favor of stability and peace in the region and support for Lebanon in implementing the ceasefire reached on November 26", the government spokesman stressed announcing the visit on Thursday afternoon."

The Mitsotakis visit to Beirut has nothing to do with the situation in Syria. This is all in support of the Israeli cease fire, which Biden claims is permanent, as Israel maintains it's temporary.

Copying here a few lines we posted in an earlier report (link).

"Mike Dimino explains the difference between ISIS, Al Nusra and the lot presently terrorizing Aleppo, viz. Hayat Tahrir Al Sham (or HTS) (link). It's unbelievable the West is presenting these thugs as 'freedom fighters'. Let's hope the Russian Air Force grinds them into dust."
