WHY HAMAS ATTACKED ISRAEL AT THIS TIME?

Two days after the paramilitary operation on Israel by 1,000 Hamas terrorists by land, air and sea that must have been months in the planning stage, the fallout is becoming somewhat more clear. Also the Saudis would agree to increase oil output during the 2023/2024 presidential election cycle and distance itself from its new alliance with the BRICS countries (link). 

Today we have a second source mentioning the triumvirate pact, adding that such a deal would lead to far reaching consequences. The weakening of Iran’s position, and a blow to the prestige of China, which recently reconciled Tehran with Riyadh.

The return of Saudi Arabia into the orbit of US influence, is intended to strengthen Biden’s position on the eve of the 2024 elections.

And recognition of Israel by the Saudis would effectively put paid to the idea of ​​a Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem.

Turkey
Turkish President Erdogan, who is always playing on all boards at once, has become a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause. He hosted Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in his palace in Ankara on July 26, 2023.

Many Hamas operatives are sheltering in Turkey. They raise funding with Government support and have invested in lucrative deals in multiple industries. Its senior figures are given close protection detail by the Turkish intelligence agency MIT (link). 

Turkish Islamist, Salih Turhan who leads a youth organization, AGD has mobilized nationwide pro-Hamas rallies in Turkey and has had frequent audiences with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and others.

Iraq
In Iraq a spokesman for the Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades,  linked to Hezbollah and Iran has said that if America decides to directly intervene in the Gaza conflict, US bases and troops in the region will become legitimate targets. The group is well armed with Iranian kamikaze drones, ballistic missiles and torpedoes and is well equipped to sink any aircraft carrier.
