ARMENIANS DUPED BY PAN TURKIC, ANTI RUSSIA GAME

Yesterday we posted a primer of sorts on the surrender of Armenian territory called Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan. It is part of a much larger deal designed by the West, in which Armenia surrenders Nagorno Karabakh to the Azeris and get the long term promise of EU/NATO membership  in compensation. Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan get the go ahead for a pseudo Pan Turkic union to fight the Russians in the Eurasia. Everybody wins! Except 120,000 starving Armenians in Nagorno Karabakh.

Price for Western support
The Western effort to pull Armenia in the EU/NATO camp, will only be possible if the EU/NATO does not import a major bone of contention in its structures. So the Armenian puppet, Nikol Pashinian stuck a knife into the backs of his people in Nagorno Karabakh and surrendered the enclave to the Azeris. The perfidy is hard to believe, but there are 'peace negotiations' ongoing, as we speak.

But it now is becoming clear that the deal is part of a much larger chess game, actually one that is centuries old. One would be grossly mistaken to assume that Western support of Armenia proper means the West is taking its side against Azerbaijan. Far from it!

It must be understood as compensating Armenia for the loss of Nagorno Karabakh. The real victors here are the Turkic countries on the Eurasian landmass.

Turkey chess
It explains why the Democrat Senator and Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez was recently thrown under the bus, indicted for corruption for a second time by his own party.

Menendez is a long time, anti Turkish power player in Eastern Mediterranean politics, and a major obstacle to selling F16 fighter jets to Turkey.

PM Erdogan of Turkey, who is known to play on all boards simultaneously, has made the F16 deal subject to Sweden's admission into NATO. Read it all on CNN (link).

Eurasia
The status quo in the region is the hegemony of a cooperative power structure based on the Eurasian Movement, of which Russia is the senior partner. The Eurasia Movement was founded in 2001 by the Russian philosopher, Aleksander Dugin. It is a mixture of Russian patriotism, Orthodoxy and anti liberalism/globalism. It sees Russia and the region as a mix of European and Asian cultures, ethnically a fusion of Slavic and Turko-Muslim peoples.

Undoubtedly the Eurasian Movement is associated with Pan Turkism as a partner against the West, which is why many Eurasionist websites have Turkish and Urdu translations and why Turkey's occupation of northern Cyprus is described as the 'dignity of the Eastern Mediterranean'.

There are no conspiracies, but there are no coincidences. On the same day that Azerbaijan launched its final assault on Nagorno Karabakh, the Azeri leader, Ilham Aliyev ordered the arrest of the coordinators of Alexander Dugin's International Eurasian Movement. It sends the message to Moscow that Russia's vision of Eurasia is over in Azerbaijan.

Simultaneously Kazakhstan announced it will impose sanctions on Russia, opening the way for an unimpeded Turkic 'Zangezur Corridor' as discussed in yesterday's posting. Kazakhstan is showing that it too is breaking away from the Eurasian project.

Even if the 'Zangezur Corridor' would bypass Armenia's Syunik province and instead passes through Iran as Erdogan suggested, it will still pass through the heartland of Iran's Azeri minority, which is even more numerous than Azerbaijan's population. And this corridor is only possible because of Azerbaijan's capture of Nagorno Karabakh.

Putin may have missed the signals as Russia has partly enabled the deal by punishing Armenia, making unveiled threats for Pashinian turning the country towards the West.

Pan Turkic Alliance
We are looking at the expansion of the anti Russian front to include the Southern Caucasus and an Islamic, Pan Turkic, anti Christian alliance sprawling across the continent, from the Eastern Mediterranean via Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan and the huge territory of Kazakhstan to the steppes of Mongolia. Attila is back!

The ethnic and religious hatred in the region whipped up against Christians is hard to understand (tweex). With the opposing parties consisting of Russia, China and Iran that makes one hell of a World War 3!

This is a joke, but she may well be right if the Pan Turkic idea comes to fruition.
