GAZA PROP FLOT CAUSES NEAR INCIDENT IN THE AEGEAN (UPDATES)

An interesting series of messages appeared on X (formerly Twitter) yesterday. A Greek source posted that Greece had shot down a Turkish drone over the Aegean, south east of the island of Crete. It seemed unlikely and looked like someone making a point about the hysteria up north about alleged violations of NATO air space, while Greece's sovereignty in air and sea is being violated thousands of times a year by Turkey, without anyone blinking an eye. But a little later the same message was reposted by an Israeli Zionist propaganda source. It confirmed my suspicion that Greece's strategic partner is trying to encourage a confrontation between Greece and Turkey, because that is currently in their interest.

I heard that Turkey contacted Greece and begged them not to shoot down their drone. Turkey sent a drone to escort the Crown Sumud flotilla boats.

A Greek unofficial defense source seemed to confirm the fact.

Translation: 

Greek F-16 to hunt Turkish Akinci and Aksungur. Information from Israeli sources about the shooting down of Turkish UAV. Not confirmed.

But then a Turkish account mentioned four drones in the air, escorting the damn Gretha flotilla. Which turned out to be correct.

By the way, I thought the Israelis had droned Gretha's boat in Tunisia a few weeks ago. Only that turned out to be a fire caused by something else.
