CONFIRMED: PRESIDENTS TRUMP AND PUTIN IN PEACE TALKS (UDATE)

Finally, some good news from the East front. According to reports, Presidents Trump and Putin are in touch and have started negotiating an end to the war in Ukraine. And not a day too soon. Rumors are flying, and may be true or not. All of which does not matter as long as the killing stops. It all started on Saturday with an exclusive scoop scored by Miranda Devine of the New York Post: an interview with Trump on Air Force One on Friday in which Trump said he has a concrete plan to end the war, adding: "I hope it’s fast. Every day people are dying. This war is so bad in Ukraine. I want to end this damn thing". Alex Christoforou has more details.
