EASTERN ORTHODOXY: A DEEP DIVE INTO THE ESSENCE/ENERGIES DISTINCTION

David Erhan (YouTube channel) joins Buck Johnson (website) to discuss some of the most important theological topics in Eastern Orthodox Christianity, namely theosis and the essence/energies distinction. David gets into what that is, the scriptural proof regarding theosis, and why other Christianities outside of Orthodoxy don't know it as such. Buck and Erhan also go into the ever-so-important essence/energies distinction, and relate much of these things to the Eastern Orthodox Saints. Buck Johnson is referring to a recent pilgrimage to the Holy Mountain this summer with Father Peter Heers, his son, David Erhan and a number of other people.
