(LIVE BLOG) ISRAEL- IRAN TIT FOR TAT: THE VIEW FROM IRAN

After the Israeli attack on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, Iran retaliated with a barrage of slow-flying drones and missiles, ninety-nine percent of which we intercepted over Jordan and Syria by Israel or its allies (link). Over night Israel upped the ante with precision attacks on Iranian bases and missile manufacture plants in Isfahan and Tabriz and a number of other targets, results of which are yet unclear for the moment.

 ISRAEL LAUNCHING RETALIATORY STRIKES ON IRAN

April 19, 2024 Alex Christoforou: Drones target Iran. Poland saves Elensky. Annalena warns Russia. Estonia, we can defeat Russia.

The goal of the Israeli assault seems to have been to send Iran a message that Israel has the capability to hit its nuclear sites with great precision whenever it wants. 

There were explosions reported in Isfahan Province in Central Iran Near-simultaneous reports of blasts were heard in Iraq and southern Syria. A US official confirms to ABC News that Israel carried out strike inside Iran.

Iranian state-linked media confirm explosion in Isfahan.  There is significant re-routing of commercial planes amid closure of key parts of Iranian airspace. The oil price is surgings by nearly four percent amid concerns of further escalation (source) .

There are several eschatological prophesies of Jewish, Evangelical Christian (video), Orthodox Christian and Shia Islamic (Wiki) origin caught up in an apocalyptic showdown in the region.

The tit for tat comes just days after Father Peter Heers of Orthodox Ethos explained the apocalyptic prophesies over the centuries in ancient patristics and by more modern day saints.
