US-PAKISTAN CABLE: REGIME CHANGE OR ELSE... (UPDATE)

A secret diplomatic cable (called a cypher) revealed pressure from the Biden State Dept. on Pakistan to remove the democratically elected Prime Minister  of Pakistan, Imran Khan. The secret document includes an account of the meeting between State Department officials, including Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, and Assad Majeed Khan, who at the time was Pakistan’s ambassador to the US. The document cites US frustration with Pakistan's "aggressively neutral" (!) stance on Ukraine, and that US-Pakistan relations will suffer unless Khan is removed by a no confidence vote. “All will be forgiven,” a US diplomat said, if the no-confidence vote against Imran Khan succeeds.

This follows months of the US Government repeatedly denying that the meeting took place", Greenwald writes. The article in The Intercept revealing the US interference in Pakistan further clarifies: 

"The meeting, between the Pakistani ambassador to the United States and two State Department officials, has been the subject of intense scrutiny, controversy, and speculation in Pakistan over the past year and a half, as supporters of Khan and his military and civilian opponents jockeyed for power.

"The political struggle escalated on August 5 when Khan was sentenced to three years in prison on corruption charges and taken into custody for the second time since his ouster. Khan’s defenders dismiss the charges as baseless. The sentence also blocks Khan, Pakistan’s most popular politician, from contesting elections expected in Pakistan later this year."



Imran Khan has long claimed American diplomats met with Pakistani military threatening reprisals if they didn't remove Khan. The State Dept. has always denied it. But then, wouldn't you if you behaved like a gangster on the world stage? The entire MO is reminiscent of the Biden crime regime's campaign against Donald Trump and other political opponents.


The scandal also illustrates the jaw dropping hypocrisy prevailing in the West. "In contrast with liberal hysteria over "Russian interference" in US elections, this is what real meddling in foreign Governments looks like," investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald tweeted.

The same goes for Ukraine in the past and more recently in Niger. If you're after a political or economic goal, say so. But don't play the model of moral rectitude lecturing the world on human rights and 'democracy'!

UPDATE:

The Biden regime just tried the same game on the Egyptian Government. Looks like they have woken up that economic and military aid can be used as leverage in political requiments.
