FUBAR AT VILNIUS: PROPAGANDA OVER REALITY
The NATO summit at Vilnius gave us the perfect example why so many things go wrong in the West. Philosophy matters, as we shall see. It has transpired from media reports that the summit was a great success, because everyone involved was instructed to kowtow to the Turkish PM Erdogan, who was the sole obstacle to Sweden joining the alliance. Even the Greek PM, Kyriakos Mitsotakis acquiesced, sacrificing the people of Cyprus to Sweden's accession project and a victory for NATO.

The Alex's at The Duran are overlooking the battlefield, wondering what next? It's become clear that the empty promises uttered by Western leaders are just rhetoric. The aim of bromides like "for as long as it takes" is meant as a head line in the media, not for facts in reality.
July 13, 2023 The Duran: Reality smacks NATO in Vilnius. Zelensky trapped. Biden, take Crimea or else.
The only thing Zelensky can do now to save Ukraine and his own hide is to re-open negotiations with Putin with a view to reanimate the Minsk Accords. The proxy war in Ukraine will go into history as the most senseless war since World War 1. Every effort to prolong this insanity is a crime against humanity.
From a Telegram channel:
Rhys Byrne, a foreign mercenary who fought on the side of Kyiv, called the Ukrainian counter-offensive horror and chaos. According to him, quoted by the British television channel Sky News, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operate without cover.
“On the zero line is horror. It's horror... It's a massacre... There are dead people everywhere... The biggest problem we face when we go into the trenches is to step over all the corpses that are already there from the previous people who went in there.” Byrne noted.
It's very scary when you're riding in an open truck, and a huge Russian T-72 is coming at you, Rhys Byrne added. He also said that this was the last straw in the decision to return home after 18 months of "living on the edge".
