41 COUNTRIES APPLYING TO JOIN BRICS
The Greeks of The Duran are pondering today why US President Bidenopoulos is on the brink of becoming a world historical figure. How can that gangster flunky possibly get to such an elevated status, you might ask. Well, he spent his way to the top by record printing dollars he doesn't have, adding to the already eye watering balance sheet of the Federal Reserve. No country is able to go to such lengths of fiscal irresponsibility. The USA is only able to afford such monetary acrobatics based on its status as the issuer of the world's reserve currency. Or is it?

When did Bidenomics reach the critical mass of debt that its monetary policies were no longer viable? It's hard to say. But Biden's attack on the ruble and the Russian financial system may have had something to do with it (they did not even do that to the N-a-z-i-s). As perhaps did the suicidal sanctions against Russia, driving Putin into an alliance with the Chinese Communist Party, traditionally a big NoNo in foreign policy. Whatever the case, at some point big trading partners like China, India, Saudi Arabia had enough of Biden debasing the currency they are forced to hold in large quantities because international trade is conducted in US Dollars.
Enter the BRICS organization comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The Duran vlog explains why countries like Iran, Argentina and the UAE -- 41 in all -- are scrambling to join the BRICS. Because they are well aware we are on the brink of a momentous paradigm shift.
Geopolitical multipolarity replacing the American global hegemony is one thing. But replacing the USD with a rival, gold backed currency is quite another. Will Biden declare war on some 50 rival countries as he must following the Thucydides trap (link)? Not even Biden's set of irrational sociopaths may be that insane.
But it goes to show how much is at stake during the next BRICS top meeting in Durban in August. If you are a trader, now would be a unique moment to start shortening the old greenback.
