The major protagonists on the Israeli front are two institutions, the judiciary and the armed forces; in this case, the Israeli Air Force (IAF). If people had a better understanding of state craft they'd know that laws are made by Governments and Parliaments as the representatives of the people. What's more, in free countries laws are made with practicalities in mind. Think of for example, traffic laws. It is the role of the courts to apply the existing laws to civil and criminal cases. Not making law, as these out of control judiciary claim is their function.
It must be pointed out that all this is opposed to moral and ethical questions, that are strictly speaking in the personal and religious domain. It is not up to politicians and the judiciary to sit in judgement of what is good or bad. In free countries, that is.
The process of judicial reform in Israel is ongoing. The matter of the selection of judges will be decided by the next session of the Knesset some time in the fall. Until then globalist liberals can improve the sense of their own virtue by continuing street protests.
We'll see where the intended coup by IAF reservists goes. It shows how far globalists are willing to go to get their way. Does that include mutiny and civil war? We'll see.
The media do nothing but editorialize and turn interviews into arguments. They never explain the essence of the matter. There is a strategic reason for this, but the fallacy is actually philosophical. They confuse actual sensorial knowledge with ideas. As a result they are dropping essences which can lead to hilarious mistakes sometimes.
In the meantime the Israeli Parliament has voted in the proposed judicial reforms. It is fairly typical that no one on the globalist side can see the contradiction of calling a reform aimed at strengthening Parliament at the expense of unelected judges, "an attack on democracy".
