DELPHI ECONOMIC FORUM: PM MITSOTAKIS ANTICIPATES US-IRAN DEAL

Coming out of seclusion today for a story on Greece that can't wait. At the Delphi Economic Forum, Breitbart's journalist, Matthew Boyle sat down once again with Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis. He did so as well last year (link). A lot has changed since then. This time the world is again in crisis, with the blockade of Iran now in full force (link). I don't want to contribute to a sense of panic that some political leaders and their friendly media seek to exploit at the expense of citizens. So let's not exaggerate the sense of urgency. Boyle: "[Mitstakis is] hoping for a big deal between the USA and Iran to end hostilities and restore economic stability in the world".

Breitbart: "Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis Pulling for Trump to Secure Deal with Iran: ‘Should Eventually Bring the U.S. and Europe Closer Together’ (link).

"PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis told Breitbart News he is pulling for U.S. President Donald Trump to secure a deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran to end hostilities in the Middle East and restore stability to the region, opening the Strait of Hormuz and helping the world’s energy markets recover from the last couple months of 'economic fallout'."

Boyle: "In addition, Mitsotakis told me the Iran war should serve as a “wake-up call” to Europe on energy. He argued the continent needs to develop its own energy so it is not dependent on other parts of the world for key things like natural gas."

Greek Maritime News outlet Navtemporiki has a feature piece on one of the main subjects under discussion at the Delphi Forum, the IMEC, the India-Middle East-Corridor via Greece into Europe, also called the 'cotton road', a rival to China's Belt and Road Initiative, of which the Athens port of Piraeus is a part.

"Discussions at the Forum will highlight IMEC’s role as an alternative to existing maritime routes, as well as its potential to reduce transit time and costs for goods moving between Asia and Europe. At the same time, key challenges to its implementation will be examined, ranging from financing and technical hurdles to geopolitical instability in the Middle East, which continues to affect the project’s timeline and viability."

Military podcaster Angelos Chorianopoulos has a critical analysis of PM Mitsotakis's speech at Delphi referencing Turkey, China and various defense issues (video). We will post the speech in an update as soon as it drops on YT.

The rest of this post is not to provide answers, but rather to register some points that require attention. Yesterday I came across this potential threat, the entire portent and meaning of which I myself at least can't yet answer.

But it's there, nevertheless. What game are these globalists playing, you might wonder? Are the old colonial powers trying to revive the old game of divide and conquer?

Discerning readers may have noticed the recent campaign unleased from Greece's 'partner' in the "3+1 format", Israel as soon as the operation against Iran unfolded: Turkey, you are next!

PM Mitsotakis and France's outgoing President Macron will attend the Greek-France Economic Forum in Athens tomorrow. The Forum, entitled "Together for a stronger, more competitive Europe" will bring together leading Greek and French business executives and institutional (link).

Perhaps Macron can provide some answers to our query.
