This is the live blog on President Trump's Inauguration on Monday Jan. 20, 2025. The President held a victory rally for 20,000 supporters on Sunday in the Capital One Arena starting (link). President Trump ordered the Inauguration Address as well as prayers and other speeches to be delivered in the US Capitol Rotunda as was used also by Ronald Reagan in 1985 because of very cold weather.

The President and Mrs Trump have just finished reviewing the troops. The President will address the crowd at the Capital One Arena and sign a second batch of Executive Orders after a truncated parade. A moment of silence was observed in memory of Rory Compertore who lost his life during the first attempt on President Trump's life. The President and Melania Ttump departed for the White House to prepare for various evening balls. 

The Bidens have left for Delaware. B'bye to Joe and Dr Jill. 

The President-Elect and Mrs Trump and the VP-Elect and Mrs Vance have arrived at Capitol Hill for the swearing-in ceremony.

After his swearing-in President Trump is expected to sign the first 200 Executive Orders related to border security, energy production, and commutation or pardoning of January 6 political prisoners.

President Trump has ordered the Inauguration Address as well as prayers and other speeches to be delivered in the US Capitol Rotunda as was used also by Ronald Reagan in 1985 because of very cold weather. The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol. 

The Capital One Arena in NYC on Monday will be open for live viewing and to host the Presidential Parade. President Trump will join after his swearing in.
