A WORD ON WILD FIRE PREPAREDNESS
Anyone who was not knocked unconscious or is living under a rock, can't have missed the recent, devastating California wild fires. Speculation is rife what may have caused them (there were many), but most disasters are caused by unfortunate combinations of sets if circumstances. But that is not why this video is being posted. You can't help feeling there are lessons here for Greece, where wild fires are raging every summer. Politicians love bringing up glowball warming because that suits their agenda. But this is obviously nonsense. Wild fires have always existed. If anything, environmentalists have exacerbated the situation with their insistence on 'natural' forest management, reasoning as if humans are not part of nature and do not have the duty to properly manage their environment. Instead they insist on letting the dead wood drop where it may. That is a matter for politics. But the situation has made clear that it is just prudent to prepare yourself and your family for immediate evacuations.
