UKRAINE AND RUSSIA EXCHANGE LONG RANGE MISSILES (UPDATE)

And we're back again today on the continuing story of the drama in Ukraine and the collective West provoking Russian President Putin into making good on Moscow's red line on long range missiles. Now we learn that apart of the six US ATACMS (link), also twelve British Storm Shadow missiles were launched into the Kursk region of Russia. While the West was denying the possibility of deploying long range missiles, they were loading Ukraine with these weapon systems. This war is put together based on constructed narratives, PR scenarios and justifications.

Alex Jones just dropped this update a few hours ago reporting that President Trump is working on a cease fire. Let's hope he has correct information, because that would be good news. There's radio silence at Mar-a-Lago, apart from messages posted on President Trump's accounts saying that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn his candidacy for Attorney General.

Nov. 20, 2024 Alex Christoforou: UK storm shadow missiles attack Russia. Putin silent. Zaluzhny targeted TurkStream. Update

Listening to the remarks by UK PM Keir Starmer in Alex's cold open in above video, that "Russia is the aggressor" and there must be no perception of Russia winning the war, one is reminded of a pedestrian in a hospital bed covered in bandages, self-righteously saying he had the right of way because the light was green.

In other words, it's like claiming your got the law on your side, while you're crippled for life! This is the extent of wisdom in Western leaders today.

Russian thinker Alexander Dugin is on to something here (link). Something else stands out about the logic and justification of this entire war. It is a tenant of Democratic Liberalism, that democracies are morally superior to autocratically led countries.

This ideology is at odds with the foundational Westphalian (Wiki) principle, that is enshrined till today in the post World War 2 international order, that nations are equals. It is the result of the idea that countries are autonomous and sovereign.

But just listen to any random commentator on some mainstream media outlet and you will soon learn that Liberal Democrats are quick to bring up their "rules based order," while at the same time implying that democracies are superior to autocratically ruled countries.

That is the whole point of continuously harping about "democracy" and Putin being a "bloodthirsty thug", "a madman" and "a dictator", as well as waiving the finger at China and others for human rights violations, while filling their own dungeons with political prisoners for protesting the wrong issue or posting their wrong message on social media.

Their supposed moral superiority is the reason they can justify to themselves having lied to post Soviet Russia about NATO expansion, and having negotiated in bad faith the Minsk 1 and Minsk 2 agreements with President Putin. And now justifying lobbing long range missiles at Russia at no moral cost to themselves.

Here's Jeffrey Sachs on what happened diplomatically in the early days after the demise of the Soviet Union and why Biden's decision to escalate the war on Russia, is unconstitutional.

NATO expansion and firing missiles have consequences. Here are a few.

Zero Hedge: US Officials Say Russia Didn't Fire ICBM At Ukraine, But A 'New' Intermediate-Range Missile
"Ukraine's earlier claim that its territory had been struck by an intercontinental ballistic missile fired by Russia is being hotly disputed, hours after widespread reports first appeared. US officials are saying it appears to be a new intermediate-range ballistic missile and not an ICBM which targeted the central city of Dnipro".
