MEDIA MANIPULATING REPORTS TO CREATE EVENTS

If one thing became clear in the last US Presidential election, it is that the old mainstream media have finally committed suicide by inventing stories from whole cloth, telling half truths or proliferating mal information. The last few days we have seen especially egregious examples in an effort to influence policies and/or historical events. They don't write the news, they cause it. Or they are trying, at least. We have seen this stuff before during Donald Trump's first administration. These people have learnt nothing and are picking up where they left off last time around. We have to be well aware of these manipulations in order to spot them in time. Another media peculiarity we have to be aware of, is that Trump himself has a habit of strategically leaking made up stuff in order to ferret out malicious infiltrators. Beware!
