A momentous week in European politics. Sunday saw the first round of the French elections, which will be followed by a second round next Sunday. The UK is having its election of Thursday, July 4th. In both countries the globalist ruling parties are on the cusp of historical defeats. The first round in France has resulted in a victory of the Rassemblement National of Marine Le Pen getting 33 percent of the vote, while in the UK Nigel Farage's Reform Party is set to throw a major spanner in the established system on Thursday. Farage just held a major MAGA type rally.

A final word on the recent elections of the Brits and the Franks. In the UK system it was always clear that things would get worse before they get any better. Reform UK needs time to build itself up and in the meantime Labour can wreak havoc to its heart's content. It's not as if that would be a first in history.


Worse is what Macron has done in France. He basically did what Rutte has been doing in the Netherlands for the last decade. Selling his party's principles to the Left in order to exclude patriotic populists from power, in effect suspending parliamentary democracy. 

There will be a price to pay. Especially with the Franks who are prone to not taking things lying down. There will be hell to pay at some point. Maybe it will take  a year, maybe longer. But there will be consequences for this deliberate act of betrayal.

Sunday was the final chapter in a series of European elections with the second round of voting in France. Since Alex' video update the results are in. Alex conveyed the bad news in a posting on X. 

 
Between the mess in the US with Biden still hanging on to power, Labour in power in the UK adopting a far Left, globalist agenda and now France moving to the far Left instead of far Right, the world finds itself in a horrible predicament. As the voters are moving to the Right, our sociopathic overlords are taking Governments in the opposite direction.

An identity trick of a different kind was used in Greece. But now there is great news from Athens where an insurrection has broken out within the ruling party. The revolt is being led by a former President and a former PM, attacking the woke agenda from Brussels, as well as its illegal migration racket, the assaults on national sovereignty, and the weak foreign policy decisions made by the Athens Government. 

The criticism against the Mitsotakis Government program was across the board, but the major catalyst was predictably, the gay marriage bill. Greeks as a people have a history of five thousand years, a legacy that you can't expect to radically change overnight. If the globalists think they can, they ain't seen nothing yet. Moreover the Orthodox phronema has its own way of dealing with foreign upstarts and heresies. 

In the presence of the PM's sister, a clear line in the sand was drawn yesterday at the Athens War Museum. If that is a signal, it's a clear one. Mitsotakis' globalist agenda is done,

In other European news, Hungary is today taking on the rotating presidency. Viktor Organ had just announced the formation of a new right-wing political faction in the European Parliament, merging Le Pen's group with Orban's patriots.

In the Parliament itself per expectations the centrist parties formed a so-called 'sanitary barrier' to exclude the right-wing from power. But...democracy!
