(LIVE BLOG): EU COUNTER ORBAN INITIATIVE WITH "BUT CYPRUS"

On July 1 Hungary took on the six months' rotating chairmanship of the Council of the European Union. Hungary's embattled PM Viktor Orban sped to Kiev on a peace mission for talks with Zelensky on how to achieve a lasting settlement of the conflict. On Saturday Orban flew to Moscow for consultation with President Putin. And then all hell broke loose among Europe's globalists, from mere ambassadors to heads of Government. Just wondering where these people get the nerve. They're all appointed. No one has ever cast a vote for them. Then they attack the one man who has been elected, who's on a peace mission. For example the just sworn in PM in the Netherlands who is a civil servant and a security state apparatchik at that, was one of the first off the mark! But of course, the most frequent argument against Orban's peace mission is, that he has no mandate and well, democrazy! It tells you all you need to know about the current cohort of 'leaders' we have to contend ourselves with, for now. The messages below are just a handful of examples.

July 6, 2024 The Duran: EU, NATO angry as Orban visits Moscow to talk peace

What the boys at The Duran did not know, and I just stumbled upon it myself, is that Orban flew from Moscow to Azerbaijan for an informal summit of the Organisation of Turkic States in Shusha, which is in the just vacated Armenian enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia surrendered the enclave to the Azeri's on the insistence of the EU dangling membership to the Armenians.

Just as with Nagorno-Karabakh the EU has never done anything for Cyprus, but now the globalists can bring it up as an argument against Orban, as if there were any principles motivating them, which is clearly not the case. The Russians violating Ukrainian territory is worth fighting a war over, but who cares about  Nagorno-Karabakh or northern Cyprus? It's a tragic mistake on the part of Orban.

OTS: Statement by the High Representative on the participation of Prime Minister Orbán at the informal summit of the Organisation of Turkic States

(...) The European Union rejects the attempts by the Organisation of Turkic States to legitimise the Turkish Cypriot secessionist entity, the so-called, internationally not recognised, “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus”, as an observer in the Organisation of Turkic States. This decision, pending ratification of Organisation’s members, is regrettable and is contradicting the fact that several members of the Organisation expressed strong support to the principle of territorial integrity and the UN Charter (...)

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico appeared in public yesterday night for the first time since the assassination attempt he suffered almost two months ago. In his speech, Fico praised Orbán's visits to both Ukraine and Russia. "If my health had permitted it, I would have liked very much to have joined him. There can never be too much peace talks,” Fico said.

During the planned visit of German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock to Budapest next Monday, she intended to explain to Peter Szijjártó the “inappropriateness” of Orban’s trip to Moscow and his meeting with Putin. After which the Hungarian Foreign Ministry canceled her visit without explanation.

THE FIRST INTERVIEW WITH ORBAN AFTER MOSCOW PEACE TALKS

July 6, 2024 Die Weltwoche: Orbán in Moscow: The first interview from a Hungarian military jet after peace talks with Putin (don't worry, it's in English).

Update: "I’m a friend of the Hungarians first, second I’m a friend of peace." The reason why Viktor Orban is negotiating with Putin is because he is looking for the shortest and quickest way to stop this war and create peace. @KoeppelRoger’s interview with the Hungarian PM after his peace mission to Moscow.

So get this. There is going to be a NATO summit in Washington in three days, whereas Orban's next move is expected on Monday morning. So were going to see a geopolitical chess game playing out in the next couple of day. The war mongers are going to be exposed like never before.

ORBAN ON PEACE MISSION, EU WARMONGERS EXPLODE

Mike Benz explains how we have been fooled and played for idiots over the last thirty years or so.

In Greece the war in Ukraine is also a hot issue. Historically and emotionally the Greeks are rooting for their Orthodox brothers and sisters in Russia. It takes a die hard globalist to take the country on the opposite path, siding with the collective Western globalist cabal.

But the PM's sister, who is political 'royalty' in her own right, was recently caught on the forum of a symposium organized by The Economist (another globalist propaganda sheet) voicing a more pragmatic tone. Alex Christoforou yesterday relayed the details at the 15:58 mark.

July 5, 2024 Alex Christoforou: Orban meets Putin. Sunak out, Starmer in. Elensky; 14 brigades, no weapons. Biden wants more sleep.

Greek Solution Party leader Kyriakos Velopoulos had the following comment on the issue.

How can you trust this Prime Minister Mitsotakis ? How can he insist on a war with Putin, since money is being lost and we are being driven to starvation, when he did not even send a... bullet to Cyprus?

In the meantime in Brussels.
