(MUSIC VIDEO) ARGYROS' WARMS GREEK HEARTS IN ROYAL ALBERT HALL

Let's lob in some heart warming footage of Friday's concert of Constantinos Argyros in London's Royal Albert Hall. Argyros touchingly addressing his mother as he shouts "Mum, your son is dancing the zeimbekiko in the Royal Albert Hall!" is a great illustration of the world of Orthodox metaphysics. As we have tried to explain on a number of occasions in this blog, the Orthodox universe is not hermetically divided into two separate spheres, heaven and earth, or the sacred and the profane as is the case in the West. No. there is only one universe created by God that is holding the seen as well as the unseen together. As a result, those that have moved on are still present with us today, even if perhaps not visible to the human eye. As a result, it is a world that is whole, enchanted and alive with the sacred ever present in the here and now.

Sep. 27, 2024 Greek Is Fun: Konstantinos Argyros - Athina mou (London 2024 - final performance).

So this is Argyros' finale of 'Athina Mou'. Here's the close up. Is there anything more beautiful than this?
