British author, vlogger, historian and archeologist Neil Oliver is talking this week to Canadian vlogger/lawyer and associate of the famous lawyer Robert Barnes (link), David Freiheit also known as Viva Frei. They exchange views on many issues you will be able to relate to. I know I did, having gone through similar experiences in my native country. It is clear that some nations are too far gone to ever recover. Some have become so demoralized they lack the spirit to defend themselves. Yet, with the truckers rebellion in Canada we have seen what some are still capable of.

As for people who are choosing to make politics their career, I'd like to add my few cents, having been involved in local politics for some time.

Politics equal power. That is why the field of politics is a magnet for the wrong sorts of people for the wrong sorts of reasons. This is one huge drawback of modern democracy. 

The American founding fathers had it right when they instituted Congress as a temporary body that was in session only a few months a year. Congressmen were farmers and tradesmen that went back to their day jobs after the close of session. 

Career politicians are the bane of this world. Most have no experience in any other field after they leave higher education, which is the reason why their ideas and policies are so utterly divorced from reality.
