UKRAINE RUNNING OUT OF MONEY, SO DOES D.C. (UPDATE)

Another day, another post on the immoral war  in Ukraine, fought for all the wrong reasons. For the last 18 months or so, the money printing presses in the US have been propping up the Zelensky regime, literally not just funding and providing for its armaments, but also pay-rolling the salaries and pensions of civil servants, the military, first responders, etc. That is, apart from the grift and treasure disappearing into the pockets of regime toadies and oligarchs. The GOP Congressmen in the US House of Representatives have been drumming up courage to halt the funding of the Ukraine war since January. With the former Speaker, Kevin McCarthy being replaced by Mike Johnson, momentum has finally arrived. The Ukraine regime is running out of money, so scramble to the rescue!

Not so fast, Speaker Johnson interjected. Not before Joe Biden will finally secure the US southern border through which hundreds of thousands of migrants from all countries on the globe are entering on a hourly basis ever since Biden's illegitimate arrival as President.

Here's what happened today in a scheduled video meeting at the US Senate on the funding of Ukraine (video). Zelensky cancelled at the last minute. It is unclear why, but Alex Christoforou has a suggestion. 

Update: War Room's International Correspondent, Ben Harnwell could throw some light on the issue: Zelensky did not cancel, he was cancelled, making the situation even worse from the point of view of Ukraine. (video). 

As a power struggle is developing in Kiev between Zelensky and his Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, muck raking investigative journalist Sey Hersh is reporting of secret negotiations with Russia (link).

It's about time. Only a negotiated settlement can prevent more blood shed in the region for a cause that was lost from the moment it was conceived.

It is no wonder the future of Zelensky has become the subject of speculation. Mrs Zelenska has said in a recent interview she hopes her husband is not going the run for a second term in office. She need not fear, as the regime has scrapped any talk of elections.

More likely is the legal paving of the road for a post haste flight out of the country. Florida, in the US is perhaps a suitable destination.
